Our founder Nelson Miller served in the Navy from 1985 to 2005, most of it with the SEAL Teams out of Virginia Beach. In 1995 he came to Tucson for military freefall training and fell for the city and the desert on the spot. In 2001 he opened a sports bar with great food on Speedway. The trident on our sign is the Naval Special Warfare insignia, and we carry it with respect.
Four locations later, we’re still proud of Tucson, the U of A and every regular who’s ever slapped a sticker on our door.
